Instructions Candy coating is an excellent icing for cookies that dries quickly, taste great and is suitable for stacking. Great for kids! Use candy writers for details on cookies. Melt candy coating. Dip cookie in candy coating with a dipping fork. Place on parchment to set. Add sugars and sprinkles if desired. For a cookie with many colors: Melt candy writers. Paint on details. Add sugars. Allow color to set up before adding an adjoining color. Place on a silicone mat or parchment paper to set.
